Before
After I cleaned it up...

This is why I made sure I had a separate bathroom from my sister when finding a new apartment.

I thought girls were supposed to be the clean ones
![]() 03/12/2015 at 14:41 |

You are mistaken. My girlfriend never rinses the bath after leg shaving meaning hair everywhere, she leaves bits of food all over the kitchen. I'm equally messy and its a student house but still.

Well both genders are equally likely to make mess, some people are just cleaner than others.

Are you the youngest as well?

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Fuck no.
Right side counter is mine.

Pish, try sharing a bathroom with 50 sisters
#sororitylife
Not like the frat houses were any better, of course. Apparently I was the only one who grew up without a live-in housekeeper and at least we had a maid in the sorority house but jfc parents teach your kids to not be disgusting before unleashing them to college.

Looks about right. I've got two sisters and they wreck the damn bathroom constantly. I buy draino every couple months because of their hair clogging the shower. plus what is so hard about keeping stuff in the biggest drawer?
![]() 03/12/2015 at 14:46 |
|
I can't take a shower in a dirty tub, ever since I was a kid my mom had me cleaning the bathrom with Ajax/Comet and Tilex/Scrubbing Bubbles so it's ingrained in me.

Maybe it was an intentional kinja-ing to represent how I laughed my kinja'd ass off.

My roommate doesn't clean nothing up. Is also a cactus.

Mentally note, have daughter learn to clean house...all of it.

They falsely claim to be.
Sources:
1. My Wife
2. Worked at a grocery store as a kid, we had to clean-ish the bathrooms at night, women are disgusting.

Prob doesn't make much of a mess tho

True dat.
![]() 03/12/2015 at 14:56 |

Lol, you're probably fine. My mom had us doing laundry and dishes and vacuuming and bathrooms etc for the entire house by the time I was 10, and now I really really hate cleaning (as my SO can confirm)!
But some of my housemates senior year didn't know you could wash dishes without a dishwasher, and needed to be taught how to wipe down kitchen counters. They weren't stuck up jerks about it, just seriously didn't even know and it was awkward having to explain things that basic to mostly-grown men and women.

I thought you're sharing in something a little bit different than that..
I'll see myself out. Thank god i had no sisters.

I'm on it!
Robbie get your chores down! "Daddy I'm 2"
GET TO WORK!

This was part of my weekend chores so at this point it is routine for me. When I see people's bathrooms with mold and mildew all over it grosses me out. I've got a buddy who has never cleaned his bathroom since he moved in a few years ago, that place can be a microbiology exhibit.

In their defense, I didnt know how to do laundry until college. My mom did everything herself. But I do know how to wash dishes. I'm just not capable of keeping anything dry; dishes, the cornertop, myself.
Though I do think it's important for kids to learn responsibility....or whatever you want to call it. It's helping around the house. And if I don't have to walk the dog ever again, I really wouldnt mind, :).
Off topic, are C&C's starting up soon? I've been itching to go to one.
![]() 03/12/2015 at 15:27 |

Lol don't worry, my housemates had their parents pay for laundry service, so who knows if they ever learned...
And I'm thinking April/May, pretty sure the first Lingenfelter one is in April.

Amen! My sister and I share the bathbathroom and the poor vanity is a disaster. The sink is full of hair dye and the counter is covered in countless makeup and hair products. I have my razor, toothbrush, and toothpaste. Thats it. She takes up every other space!
![]() 03/12/2015 at 15:38 |

Sounds about right. :D
![]() 03/12/2015 at 15:49 |

So how is life in a sorority house? Is it anything like dorm life? I've only stayed in dorms.
![]() 03/12/2015 at 15:50 |

I know right? Free child labor? It makes me want to have another kid!
![]() 03/12/2015 at 15:54 |

My dad thought that. He learned the hard way with my 3 sisters. Im not perfect, but pretty close in comparison to a couple of my sisters.

Probably depends on the school and specific Greek house, but I lived with approximately 50 other sophomores in a mansion. Typically for big UM sororities, you only live in the house sophomore year, maybe junior year if they have room, but most juniors and seniors rent houses off campus so you only live in the dorms freshman year. So in that mansion I had a triple room, and we shared a sitting room connected to a bedroom. The bathrooms were dorm-style, but we had a chef and ate family style every night at tables of 6. We had a workout room, study areas, free laundry machines, and a common area with couches, a piano, and big TV. We were also allowed to have cars and park at the house, so for that alone it was way better than the dorms.

One of the few benefits to having really poor eyesight. I take off my glasses, open the shower curtain, and everything looks fine!

I still swear it's why my parents had 2 lol.
This how the cycle of bad backs continues in the men in my family.
Dad's back is hurt, your 8 it's time to start lifting things for him.
Happened to me, happened to him, happened to his father.
Thankfully mine has held up pretty well, we'll see.

I have cousins like this. Seriously.
A 16 year old asking mom to pour him a glass of milk or get him a snack.
In my house if I asked a question like that my parents would reply with "what are your legs broken? Get up and get it yourself." It was a tragically rude awakening when they moved out for college.
As for the Sorority thing, my wife was in a non-greek sorority (still had a house and everything though. they were basically greek without the affiliation to the campus greek council). I saw many tragic things cleanliness wise in that house lol. The frat I almost joined was beyond worse though.
Also, crap April is the first Lingenfelter one? I better get in gear prepping the Montego.
![]() 03/12/2015 at 16:54 |

Yeah, at my old apartment, the bathroom was dark unless you turned on the shower light. I made the mistake of looking in there with the light on and my glasses on once. Once.

They're a bunch of dirty bastards!

I don't know...if I visit my mom, I ask her these same things to see what I can get away with. It's a game, that only I'm playing, :).
Lingenfelter might be in May. I was gonna check it out later once I leave work, and post to oppo for the Michigan guys.
